The Barossa Boxer Chardonnay is a wonderfully fruit driven wine, which follows the lead of NZ Sauvignon Blanc. In making this wine, we wanted to retain the abundance of wonderful fresh fruit characters we seem to get from our vineyard every year. We chose not to use oak, wanting the citrus, gooseberry, and grapefruit characters to explode on both the nose and the palate. We believe our new Barossa Boxer wine to be a wonderfully fresh and crisp wine, which highlights those fruit characters while relying on natural acidity and minerality to maintain its balance. |
